Many patients who come to us have tried other forms of care. Often a patient’s family doctor, orthopedic surgeon or urgent care doctor has suggested bed rest or told them to take it easy and then gave them over-the-counter pain medications, followed by prescription pain killers and muscle relaxers.
Some of our patients have tried all the conventional treatments: physical rehab, epidural injections, acupuncture, traction and maybe even surgery.
